Start with a 1.25-mile kayak or SUP paddle, followed by an 8-mile mountain bike ride, and finish with a 5-mile run through the Whitewater Center trail system. Take on the challenge as an individual or grab your friends and compete in a relay team of two or three.

Overnight Kayak Expeditions

Join pro-kayaker Shane Benedict of Liquid Logic as he demonstrates the most effective way to pack a long boat. Shane will cover everything from trip prep to maneuvering a packed boat, and suggest some of his favorite overnight expeditions in the southeast region.

Whitewater Boat Design

Join pro-kayaker and Dagger Kayaks employee Steven Augustine as he goes over the whys behind boat design and modeling. This informational session will feature Dagger’s newest boat the Rewind and an old time favorite the Axiom as a case study for this informational session.

Watermelon Wrangle

Pre-Registration Closed

A Whitewater twist on the classic pool game: race down the Competition Channel (class III-IV rapids) while competing to collect the most greasy watermelons in your raft. Whoever wrangles the most watermelons wins.

A $25 pre-registration is required. Register as an individual or a team of 4-6 people. Individuals will be matched into teams. Competitors must be at least 16 years of age. The Watermelon Wrangle is an unguided raft race.
