Wildwoods is a place for kids of all ages to play, explore and connect in nature. Established to expand the Center’s activities for younger kids and foster their love for outdoor play, Wildwoods features dozens of climbing and discovery elements for a wide range of ages. No matter if you are young – or young at heart – we are all born to be wild.

Explore the Treehouse Village featuring several multi-story, locust-wood structures connected by floating hammocks and swinging bridges. Navigate the dozens of climbing elements across the forest floor with an all-new Boulder Garden and low-rope-style Challenge Course.

BABY BERMS

Introducing the region’s only bike trail just for pedal-free balance bikes. The Balance Bike Course is perfect for little shredders looking to develop their bike skills. The half-mile track winds through a forested section of Wildwoods and features mini rollers, rock gardens and berms. Guests can bring their own bike and helmet or check one out at the Bike Shed.

WILDWOODS EXPERIENCE

The Wildwoods footprint is fully fenced in to provide an enclosed environment for play. Guests of any age are welcome to play inside the fence (Activity Pass required). Outside of the Wildwoods fence, you’ll find the shaded, timber-framed Pavilion and Cabin, which make great spots to snack and watch your kids explore (no Pass required).

FAQ

How much does Wildwoods entry cost?

A Wildwoods Single Activity Pass is $18 and gives guests access to the play elements inside the fence for the day. Guests can also access Wildwoods with a day pass ($69 for ages 9 and under; $79 for ages 10 and over) or an annual pass ($149 for all ages). No pass is required to visit the Wildwoods area and remain outside of the fence.

What are Wildwoods hours of operation?

Operating hours vary seasonally. Please refer to the daily activity schedule for today's hours.

How do I get to Wildwoods?

Guests will enter the main Whitewater entrance at 5000 Whitewater Parkway and purchase an activity pass at Outfitters. Guests can then head to Canyon Ridge, where they will cross a suspension bridge before entering Wildwoods.

What to wear?

Closed toe shoes and activewear are recommended but not required. Those who would like to ride on the balance bike course will be required to wear a helmet, which are provided at no extra cost. The activities within Wildwoods do not require harnesses or special equipment.

What is a balance bike?

The Balance Bike Course at Wildwoods is the region’s only bike trail just for pedal-free balance bikes. A balance bike is a bike without pedals designed for younger riders. Guests can bring their own bike and helmet or check them out at the Bike Shed. Bikes and helmet access is included with your pass.

Are there any age requirements or restrictions?

Wildwoods is open to all ages.
