The Mountain-to-Sea Trail (MST) is a 1,200-mile state trail that traverses from the Great Smokey Mountains of NC to Jockey’s Ridge on the Outer Banks. The trail features the highest mountain peak and sand dune in the eastern US and winds through 37 counties showcasing North Carolina’s small farms to coastal swamps to barrier islands. In this informational session, Kimberly “Legs” Brookshire, an avid through hiker, will share her experience completing the MST as well as provide insightful tips and pointers for those looking to explore the MST.
